What is gold? It is not a grain to be eaten; It is not a flower to be satisfied with; It is not wool or silk to make clothes to protect the body; It is not wood or flour to make many things out of it; Oops! It is not even tobacco or opium in which we forget the sorrows of the world. It is not even a poison that we can get rid of by eating it.
Yet why is it said that it is not poison? Entering into man's practice destroys mutual trust, love and respect. It has destroyed man's righteousness. Even the most sacred relationship in a moment breaks it down.
And it's not a drug thing, why say that? Its intoxication spoils a person's whole life. It engages large nations in anti-liberation as well as unjust activities.
Gold is the biggest misfortune.
