Indian Farmer

India is an agricultural country. That's why farmers are very important in our country, the farmer has been called 'Annadata'. In fact, the farmer grows the grain, it fills our stomach. The farmer goes to his field early in the morning with a plow-ox. There he is engaged in farming work throughout the day. He also eats lunch on the farm itself. He returns home in the evening.

When he comes home, he puts grass, straw, cake etc. to the bullocks. Only then does he get relief. The farmer is busy in his work even in the midst of the cold of Push-Magh, the sunshine of Vaishakh-Jeth and the rain of rain. The living condition of an Indian farmer is simple.

He lives with his family in a kutcha house made mostly of mud. The farmer welcomes the guest openly. Agriculture in our country is mostly based on rain. The farmer is happy when there is good rainfall. But if there is no or less rain in any year then he becomes sad. Where irrigation facilities are available from canals or tube-wells, the farmers are more happy. The condition of the farmers of our country was very bad under the British rule. But today his condition has improved a lot.

Today's farmers may be poor, but they are not compelled. After independence, education has spread a lot in our country. Because of this today's farmer is no longer illiterate. His children are also getting further education after completing their studies in the village school. Despite all this, many of our farmers are still engulfed in superstitions. They believe in ghosts or witchcraft. They spend more than their capacity on occasions like death and marriage etc.

That's why they are often buried under the burden of debt. Apart from this, our farmers are also victims of various kinds of addictions. Farmer is the backbone of our country. Due to his hard work, the country has become self-sufficient in the matter of food grains today. In fact, the farmer is the destiny of this country. The progress of the country depends on the progress of the farmer. The day the farmer of the country will be happy, on that day the country will also be happy and prosperous.

Hail farmer!  Victory to India .
