Plantation

Trees have been friends of man since ancient times.  Trees have many benefits for humans.  The abundance of trees is considered a sign of happiness, good luck and prosperity of the people.  That's why tree plantation has been given a lot of glory. 

In our country, there has been indiscriminate felling of trees for the last many years.  Due to this, today large forests have been cleared and the density of trees has reduced a lot.  The lack of trees has reduced the amount of rainfall.  Now efforts are being made to plant more and more trees.  Taking care of a new tree by planting it is equivalent to adopting a child and taking care of it.  

Plantation of trees is considered a virtue.  There are many benefits of tree plantation.  As trees grow and flourish, even the uninhabited places become green and beautiful.  The greenery of the trees fills the mind with happiness.  The cool shade of the trees provides happiness and peace on a hot summer afternoon.  The leaves, flowers, fruits of the tree are all useful to us.  We get paper, matches, gum, lac, different types of medicines and oils from trees. 

Tree plantation is also important from the geographical and scientific point of view.  Trees make the atmosphere cool and pure.  The clouds are drawn only by the attraction of the trees, due to which it rains.  Planting trees around the field protects the soil of the field.  Trees planted along the banks of the river prevent the erosion of its banks.  Planting trees along the roads enhances the beauty of the roads and gives pleasant shade to the passers-by.  

Tree plantation is our utmost duty.  By planting trees, we serve ourselves and the society.  Tree plantation can make life-life healthy, beautiful and happy.  Trees are the first necessity of our life.  They are the foundation of our life.  Therefore, we should get the blessings of nature by celebrating tree plantation every year as a festival.
